Individual Learning Support Assistant
The learning support assistant will be working in Class 1 (ages 6-7). The main focus of this work will be in supporting a six year old boy.
This is a temporary post, initially offered for one term, whilst the support needs of this child and others in Class 1 are accessed. At the end of the term the post may be offered again with a slightly different emphasis, dependent on the level of needs within the class.
Working hours will be 9am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday in term time,
Pay will be £6.42 per hour including statutory holiday pay.
Ideally we would like applicants to at least have sat in on a Steiner class for a morning in order to experience this setting.
Start date: September 6th 2010
Closing date for applications is August 8th 2010; interviews will take place on 11th August 2010.

Kindergarten Assistant
Part time vacancy available from September working as a kindergarten assistant, for 3-4 sessions per week. Working hours are approximately 9am-2pm; pay is £35.65 per session. Previous experience of working in a Steiner kindergarten and ideally an NVQ level 3 in childcare (or working towards this or similar qualification) are desirable.
Closing date for applications is July 31st 2010; interviews will take place during the following week.
