admissions and contributions

Steiner education currently operates outside of the state maintained sector. Aside from some charitable donations and other grants, we are entirely dependent upon the support of parents through their contributions of money, time and work. Although raising money is essential for the running of the School, our policy is to be inclusive rather than exclusive. Details on fees are given below and prospective parents are encouraged to contact the school for further information.

Parent and Child Group

from 9.30am to 11.30 am, Tuesday to Thursday

Playgroup

from 10am to 12.15pm on Fridays

Kindergarten

from 9.30am to 1pm, Monday to Friday

Afternoon Care

Afternoon care operates daily (for regular bookings) from 1pm - 3.30pm to support parents of kindergarten children

School

All school classes are offered 5 full days of school from 9am - 3.30pm, although the parents of the younger children are welcome to take their children home at 1pm on Wednesday (Willow Class) and Friday (Willow and Oak Classes) afternoons if they wish, and by prior arrangement with the teachers.

Additional information about fees:

Whilst we depend upon the majority of families paying the full fee, bursaries are available to families who are not able to afford the full fees.

All fees are subject to an annual increase, which is linked to inflation.
